Maryland’s state pride eye black

If you like the Maryland state pride uniforms that are gradually spreading to every team on campus, you’ll love these state pride-themed EyeBlack patches. If you don’t, well, too bad.

The Rockville-based company announced on Friday that these new items will be worn by concessionaires, stadium workers and volunteers during Saturday’s home game at Byrd Stadium. They’re also for sale at the Maryland bookstore and at EyeBlack.com. The state-flag ones have all the subtlety of a Natitude banner, but the Maryland Pride thing was never really about subtlety.
