The NFLPA put together a Veterans Day video, featuring a few football players who come from military families. Robert Griffin III, along with the Colts’ Dwayne Allen and Vikings’ Jarius Wright, explained their appreciation.

“Being a military kid, I understand the importance of recognizing the veterans,” Griffin says in the video. “I have two parents who both did… One did 13, one did 21 years in the military, and I really appreciate them for what they were able to do, and keep us safe, and give us the freedom that we have today.”

RGII also did some tweeting yesterday about the importance of recognizing our veterans.
