Morning Pixels: Happy Thanksgiving

Happy early Thanksgiving folks. Or Happy Normal Thursday to any non-celebrating friends. Starting this afternoon, things will be a bit sparse around here for the next few days. Dan will still have his Best and Worst after tomorrow’s Redskins game, so try not to fall into a food coma until after you read it.

Speaking of food, Nick Sundberg tweeted a pic of his early Thanksgiving spread last night, and it looks like he covered all of the staples. What’s your must-have Thanksgiving dish? Let us know in the comments.

For me, it’s mac and cheese. But that’s a must have on any day.

BECAUSE YOU DON’T READ THE PAPER

* Maryland’s move to the Big Ten took the ACC by surprise

* The Hoyas fell short in overtime against Indiana.

* RGIII is prepared for mixed reactions to his presence in Texas.

* Jason Reid says the Redskins need to put on some pressure.

TWEET OF THE NIGHT

QUOTE OF THE NIGHT

RGIII, on his friends back home being Cowboys fans:

“They tell me they’ll be cheering for me, but that they still want their guys to win. I can accept that, but we’ve still got to go out and get the victory.”

CAROL OF THE BALLS

Here’s Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony,  Dwyane Wade, Russell Westbrook, and Joe Johnson playing “Carol of the Bells” by dribbling basketballs. This probably took 8,372 takes to get right, but it’s pretty cool. via The Basketball Jones
