Ross Detwiler at Caps practice

The Caps officially started camp yesterday, and among the fans who came to watch was Nats pitcher Ross Detwiler.

“I couldn’t imagine our sport locking out,” Dewiler told Comcast SportNet (video below). “And they’re playing because they love the game, because they’re that good at it. If you’re kinda held out of doing that, and knowing that it’s coming, the 19th is coming, opening day is coming, there’s so much anticipation. It’d be kinda tough.”

Detwiler isn’t the only local athlete excited about finally seeing some Caps games.
