Denver mayor injured warming up for Ray Lewis dance

As is the tradition, the mayors of both Denver and Baltimore made a silly bet before the game, obliging Denver Mayor Michael Hancock to publicly perform the Ray Lewis dance should the Broncos lose. Well, they lost. Hancock intended to pay up, but according to the Denver Post, he was injured while warming up to perform Lewis’s legendary moves.

Perhaps mayors should just stick to state flags.

For those who want their Ray Lewis dance 15 stories tall, the Marriott Hotel in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor is offering a laser light version of the legendary pregame gyrations. It’s no 74-foot tall RGIII, but it is pretty cool.

The light show started last Friday prior to the Ravens game in Denver.
