D.C. bus ad salutes Nats, United and Kastles

D.C.’s winter sports teams haven’t gotten off to the world’s greatest start. But the spring sports season is on the horizon, and both D.C. United and the Nats are coming off resurgent seasons that ended in the playoffs.

Thus, this Metrobus ad from Events DC.

“Washington, D.C.’s professional sports teams are enjoying a resurgence in recent months including exciting playoff appearances by the Washington Nationals and D.C. United, and back-to-back World Team Tennis championships for the Washington Kastles,” Erik A. Moses, managing director of Events DC’s Sports and Entertainment Division, said in a release. “The city is certainly known for politics and government, but our sports teams have garnered a fair share of the national spotlight over the last year. We wanted to celebrate the successes in a light-hearted way.”

The ad will run through mid-February.
