London Fletcher takes a jab at the NFL over cap penalty

By Jonathan Newton/The Washington Post. By Jonathan Newton/The Washington Post.

It’s one thing when Larry Michael and Bruce Allen lash out at the NFL over the salary-cap penalties that are crippling the Redskins’ offseason possibilities.

It’s another thing when the team’s leader and second-most popular player does so.

London Fletcher sent out this message via Twitter on Wednesday evening, not long after Lorenzo Alexander had signed with the Cardinals. Seems like Fletcher would have maybe preferred to see his fellow linebacker and captain stay in D.C.

Of course, if the Redskins were playing by Monopoly rules, that would mandate Free Parking, so probably just forget about that plan.
