Randy Wittman goes off on reporter likening Wizards to the circus

It’s really tempting as a reporter to try to extract some relevance from local sports teams by using pop culture or referencing area events. I mean, with 82 regular season games, you have to mix up the questions somehow.

But one local television reporter took it a step too far and learned the hard way that Randy Wittman doesn’t play that game. Comcast SportsNet’s J. Michael has the scoop.





The word on the street is that it was a WUSA reporter. My money’s on Dave Owens, who loves asking clown questions. Apparently quite literally.
