NCAA tournament athletes do D.C. trivia (Video)

During NCAA media day at Verizon Center yesterday, I set out to see how many of the visiting players knew Washington D.C. trivia. It did not go well.

Few players knew what a half smoke is and even fewer knew what street the White House is on. Even DeMatha standouts Victor Oladipo and Jerami Grant has some trouble with the questions. Everyone knew who the Redskins quarterback is (duh), but no one named Bryce Harper when I asked for a Nationals player (although “Jeff Something” got some love).

Perhaps most disappointing is everyone’s lack of Chuck Brown knowledge. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
