Eric Fehr’s dad makes his playoff debut

Hey look, it’s Eric Fehr’s dad, Frank.

“I’ve never seen a playoff game before, and this is my first playoff game experience with the Capitals,” the elder Fehr told WJLA Thursday morning, in about as strong a Manitoba accent as you’ll hear in Ballston.

“It’s very exciting to have a son to play in the NHL, and to be in the playoffs, for sure,” the elder Fehr said. “He’s had a lot of ups and downs, and this is a better year.
