Redskins removing burgundy collars from white jerseys

(Toni L. Sandys/The Washington Post)

There weren’t many things for Redskins fans to complain about when looking back at the 2012 season. Those weird burgundy Nike Flywire collars on the team’s white uniforms, I guess, might have been something.

Well, no longer. A source confirmed that the team’s white jerseys will not have burgundy collars in 2013. The news was first reported by Son of Washington, which celebrated the development, writing “that two-tone rugby collar was about the worst thing I have ever seen on a jersey.”

Pro or con on this change?
