D.C. Council declares June 20 ‘Josh Morgan Day’

via @CMYMA

On Tuesday, D.C. City Council issued a resolution to make June 20 “Josh Morgan Day.” The date coincides with Morgan’s birthday, who will turn 28 on Thursday.

The Redskins wide receiver is known in the D.C. community for his efforts to give back and won the Walter Payton Man of the Year award last season. Morgan spent the morning receiving well wishes from fans on Twitter.

I’m not sure what actually happens on Josh Morgan Day, but I hope it involves cake.
