There have been a few stories floating around about pranks at Redskins training camp, like Niles Paul and his adventures with silly string. But it takes a courageous guy to pull a prank on the starting quarterback. Apparently Darrel Young is that guy.

Young was on with Holden and Danny on 106.7 The Fan on Tuesday, and told the duo about a joke he pulled on Robert Griffin III, involving a tampered-with water bottle.

“Aw, man. It was pretty funny,” he laughed. “It was just a water-bottle trick. You just unscrew [the top halfway], and he ended up pouring it over his whole face. But you know what, he’s still a good guy at the end of the day. I’m glad I’m able to take it there with him.”

What goes around comes around, and Young said he’s prepared for the inevitable retribution.

“I’m sure he’ll do something,” he said. “But he hasn’t gotten me back with anything.”
