Wizards launch ‘Courage’ program, host Wounded Warriors and TAPS families

The Wizards are launching their annual “Courage” program during tonight’s home game against the Nets. The team will be selling hats (above) for $25, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).

To help celebrate the launch, the team hosted Wounded Warriors and TAPS families at practice on Thursday. They got to interact with the players, and one wheelchair-bound warrior got the chance to go shot for shot with John Wall. Video of the impressive shooting display is below.
