Watch D.C. media members attempt to dunk off a trampoline

(Jonathan Newton/The Washington Post)

With John Wall set to compete in his first NBA dunk contest, the Wizards very cleverly invited the entire local D.C. sports media corps to Verizon Center’s practice court for a fun afternoon dunk contest.

To help increase the chances of some dunks, they also provided a trampoline.

They needed to provide something else. Like a flying hoverboard. And some Gatorade. Spiked with magical jumping powder.

Anyhow, Sarah went to the event and took a whole bunch of video. It’s all amazing.
