The same day that Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall agreed to a new contract that will keep him in Washington, he also played in an annual charity basketball game in Richmond against members of the Virginia Assembly. While there, he briefly discussed his new deal.
“Something we’ve been going back and forth with the last couple weeks,” he said, via Comcast SportsNet. “And I’m excited. You know, it makes me feel good, that my hard work is getting rewarded. You know, I came back, sacrificed myself for the team. And it’s nice to be rewarded for that, and it’s nice to be appreciated.”
Hall also noted his new deal on Twitter, writing “HTTR for LIFE.”
