Dustin Penner’s tour of Washington

Dustin Penner’s first week in Washington went about as expected, if you expected him to take a photo of the White House, pose in juvenile-ish fashion with the Washington Monument, request a ride home from his neighborhood Giant, and identify the national mall as the location of a scene from Forrest Gump.

“Today’s history lesson class: this is the spot where Forrest Gump jumped into the water and screamed Jennaaay!!! And they lived happily ever after I think,” he captioned the above photo.

“It’s not the beach but relaxing nonetheless…” he captioned the below photo.

As for his request for a ride home, it was eventually granted, although the granter explained that they have a mutual friend.
