Redskins players welcome Ryan Clark to Washington

In 2014, the true welcoming of a free agent signing doesn’t occur at a news conference or the airport; it occurs on Twitter.

Thus, observe some of Monday night’s action concerning new safety Ryan Clark. Clark replied to most of these people at some point.

SPORTS RADIO NEWS

ESPN 980 announced Tuesday that it has re-signed Brian Mitchell and Scott Jackson to three-year deals. Possibly not the biggest local signings of the day, but I’ll probably spend more time listening to Mitchell and Jackson than, say, a free agent wide receiver. Unless he gets his own radio show.

Q: If the Washington Redskins have a serious consideration to moving back to the District would you make them change their name?

A: I can’t imagine any scenario where they come back with that name.
