The Baltimore Sun received advanced copies of the University of Maryland’s plans to celebrate its official move to the Big Ten Conference on July 1. Jeff Barker reports that the plans include a special event in Baltimore and a Big Ten Night at Nationals Park on June 30, and a campus celebration on July 1.

But here’s the best part: Maryland’s dining services will unveil a Big Ten-themed ice cream flavor on July 1.

So. Many. Jokes. My first thought was Rocky Road, which is terrible. Most of these are better:

Or, as one clever editor suggested, “The truth is, we don’t know what B1G-flavored ice cream will taste like. We just know that SEC-flavored ice cream will taste better.”

Leave your own suggested tasting notes in the comments.
