This is what it looks like to have Marcin Gortat fall on you

Marcin Gortat turned an ankle going for a rebound in the fourth quarter of Monday’s win over Indiana and fell on top of a TNT cameraman seated beneath the basket. The Wizards center then said something that was not a motivational quote from Gladiator.

For TNT analyst Chris Webber, the incident was evidence that camera operators and photographers are too close to the action. Psssh. If anything, the cameraman cushioned Gortat’s fall.

John Wall thought the entire thing was rather amusing. Gortat was fine and the Wizards won, which is why we can all laugh about things like this and air-balled free throws.
