Jayson Werth drops ‘Mean Girls’ reference on Dan Kolko

You’re not gonna get many post-game on-field interviews that end much better than this one, between MASN’s Dan Kolko and the Nats’ Jayson Werth.

“It was one of those games,” Werth said, during the non-awesome part of the interview. “We got the W, that’s the most important thing. And we’re back here tomorrow to play again. And good for you, Dan Kolko! You go, Dan Kolko!”

Then he left the field.

Here’s the ‘Mean Girls’ reference, if you’ve been too busy reading Edna Ferber. Yes, “Glen Coco” actually does sound quite a bit like “Dan Kolko,” come to think of it.

If you missed the game, Werth made this grab with two men on and two outs in the top of the ninth.
