‘Days of Future Past’ X-Men movie shows RFK Stadium getting destroyed

X-Men: Days of Future Past

Back in March, a trailer for the latest X-Men movie, “Days of Future Past,” included a brief shot of Magneto “wreaking some sort of havoc” in RFK Stadium. A new clip released last week provides an extended look at Magneto’s destruction.

“Can I help you?” a groundskeeper laying down the foul line between third base and home plate asks Magneto after he appears out of nowhere on the infield grass.

“No, you can’t,” Magneto says before using his powers to levitate the stadium, causing signage, seats and light fixtures to crumble.

It’s a good thing the Nationals moved to Nationals Park before Bryce Harper arrived because RFK’s outfield walls appear to be made of concrete.
