Nationals’ latest loss is the pits for some fans

(Photo by Katherine Frey/The Washington Post)

The Nationals are 9-14 in May, have lost seven of their last 10 games and are 3 1/2 games out of first place in the NL East after Monday’s loss to the second-place Marlins. If you were to sum up the state of the team right now in one Vine, this would be it.

If you, like Ian Desmond, are still looking for some hidden meaning in the barrel of his bat, try this enhanced video instead.

I just took a Vine of a Vine of a guy rubbing his armpit and then making his friend smell his hand. All in the name of journalism.

Thanks, I think, to @recordsANDradio.
