Nationals fans go #Spanning for tickets and bobbleheads

The Nationals are giving away Denard Span bobbleheads to the first 25,000 fans at Sunday’s game against the Brewers. They look pretty sharp.

Earlier today, the team gave fans a chance to score two tickets to Sunday’s game (and a pair of bobbleheads) by posting their best #Spanning photos to Instagram. (#Spanning, for the uninitiated, is the hashtag used to describe Span, often in the context of his ability to span the outfield with ease during the span of a game.)

The #Spanning movement hasn’t reached the same fervor as #Griffining did two years ago, but there were some inspired submissions from Nats fans. Here are the five winners, as chosen by the Nationals:
