Redskins rookie tackle Morgan Moses, a third-round draft pick out of Virginia, has yet to distinguish himself in training camp in the competition for the primary backup position, but the Richmond native could get the starting nod at pitcher in the team’s next charity softball game.

Wearing camo pants and a custom No. 76 jersey, Moses fired a “slider” down and in for the ceremonial first pitch at Tuesday’s Richmond Flying Squirrels game. Props to Moses for actually throwing from the mound, unlike former Wizard Trevor Booker.

Moses starred at Richmond’s Meadowbrook High and played one season at Fork Union Military Academy before enrolling at Virginia.
