Bruce Boudreau runs drills at Craig Laughlin’s hockey camp in Laurel

There’s never a dull moment at Craig Laughlin’s Network Hockey camp at The Gardens Ice House in Laurel. On Tuesday, former Capitals coach and current Anaheim Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau, decked out in his Anaheim gear, stopped by to run drills with students. It wasn’t the first time Boudreau guest-coached in Laurel for a day, but it’s not often Boudreau gets to hang out with locals, many of whom are Caps fans and still have great respect for him.

“Are there any Ducks fans here?” Boudreau asked the students as he posed for photos. Boudreau must be taking an East Coast road trip, because on Monday, he was seen hanging out at the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp.

Laughlin, who has been running Network Hockey since 2001, had his annual staff vs. students game this past Thursday and took the Ice Bucket Challenge on Monday. What’s next on Laughlin’s rink is anyone’s guess.
