Robert Griffin III, John Wall and other D.C. athletes and mascots take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

I’ve lost track of all the D.C. athletes who have taken the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge — full disclosure: I haven’t tried that hard — but the biggest names are all accounted for after Robert Griffin III and John Wall joined the club on Thursday. (Alex Ovechkin and Bryce Harper dumped water on their heads in an effort to raise awareness and money for ALS research earlier this week.)

Here’s a far-from-comprehensive look at D.C. athletes and mascots who have accepted the challenge in recent days, including  Capitals defenseman Steve Oleksy, who took the challenge to new heights.
