The Potomac Nationals released some of the details of their 2015 promotional schedule on Thursday and they are spectacular, particularly the lineup of bobbleheads and figurines.

Wilson Ramos Buff-A-rine

The half-man, half-buffalo figurine is a nod to Wilson Ramos’s nickname, “The Buffalo,” and is the third addition to Potomac’s “crossbreed” series. The 2012 Roger Bernadina Shark-A-rine and last year’s Jayson Werth Wolf-A-rine (pictured below) were both wildly popular.

Michael Taylor “Flattop” Major League Debut Bobblehead (with Faux Hair)

Potomac is going back to the faux hair figurine well after all 1,000 of last year’s Jayson Werth BobbleBeards were gone 13 minutes after the gates opened. (In response to last year’s high demand, the Nationals will bump production of this year’s bobbleheads and figurines to 2,000 items.)

Taylor had two hits and a homer in his major league debut in August. The next day, some of his teammates cut out the back panel of his batting practice cap to let his beautiful hi-top fade breathe.

Steven Souza Jr. “The Catch” Figurine

Finally, Potomac will give away a figurine commemorating Steven Souza Jr.’s catch that preserved Jordan Zimmermann’s no-hitter.

In addition to the items mentioned above, the P-Nats will host 16 fireworks shows and celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of “The Goonies,” with a Goonies treasure hunt, costume contest and other activities. They will give away replica championship rings and Anthony Rendon jersey T-shirts. The Cowboy Monkey Rodeo and Beard-A-Palooza, which was named Minor League Baseball’s promotion of the month last June, will also return in 2015.

Dates, times and photos for Potomac’s 2015 promotions will be made available in the coming months.
