Nationals reliever Jerry Blevins is in Japan, where his team of MLB all-stars recently completed a five-game showcase series against Japanese teams.

During the tour, which concludes with an exhibition game on Thursday, Blevins and his teammates have entertained themselves — and their fans — with a series of dares.

After Pirates reliever Mark Melancon responded to Angels reliever Hector Santiago’s dare to serenade a stranger on the street, Brewers righty Rob Wooten challenged Blevins to eat pickled fish guts. Like a champ, he accepted.

“My sodium levels just went straight through the roof,” Blevins says after a couple of bites. “It feels like snot.”

Eventually, Blevins takes the rest of the guts down like a shooter.

We anxiously await Blevins’ dare for Wooten.
