There was a bag of Bojangles awaiting John Wall after win over Charlotte

“They came in awful hot,” a reporter said to John Wall after the Wizards routed Charlotte, 95-69, on Monday.

The reporter was talking about the Hornets, who had won five straight entering the game, but he could have also been referring to whatever was in the Bojangles bag above Wall’s locker.

Wall talked about getting back to the way he and the Wizards were playing earlier in the season and being aggressive, but his mind may have been on the greasy goodness that awaited him.

Wall eats healthier than he did when he came into the league, but no trip to Charlotte is complete without a taste of Bojangles. (Yeah, there’s a location in D.C., but the chicken and biscuit chain is based in the Queen City.)

Fast food chicken was a hot topic of discussion in the locker room on Monday. We already knew

. Now we know that Paul Pierce is more of a

guy and Wall likes the nuggets and hushpuppies at Cook Out, which was founded in North Carolina.

What was in that bag of Bojangles though?

Whatever it was, it was tasty. #TeamBojangles.
