“They came in awful hot,” a reporter said to John Wall after the Wizards routed Charlotte, 95-69, on Monday.
Wall talked about getting back to the way he and the Wizards were playing earlier in the season and being aggressive, but his mind may have been on the greasy goodness that awaited him.
Wall eats healthier than he did when he came into the league, but no trip to Charlotte is complete without a taste of Bojangles. (Yeah, there’s a location in D.C., but the chicken and biscuit chain is based in the Queen City.)

Fast food chicken was a hot topic of discussion in the locker room on Monday. We already knew
. Now we know that Paul Pierce is more of a
guy and Wall likes the nuggets and hushpuppies at Cook Out, which was founded in North Carolina.
Wall had Bojangles at his locker after the game but Pierce said he’s Team Church’s.

John Wall had a Bojangles meal waiting for him afterward. He also talked about his go-to order at Cook-Out…nuggets, fries, hushpuppies, tea.

What was in that bag of Bojangles though?
@BarrettSallee I honestly think it was a box of just biscuits. Might have had a couple of Chicken Supremes in there.

Whatever it was, it was tasty. #TeamBojangles.
