Wizards’ Paul Pierce bangs on the glass, whips up crowd at Caps-Islanders Game 7

Fresh off their first-round sweep of the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, Wizards players Rasual Butler, Marcin Gortat, Paul Pierce and John Wall were back at Verizon Center on Monday to support their co-tenant Capitals in Game 7 of their first-round series against the Islanders.

The four Wizards teammates all wore Capitals sweaters and sat together in the first row behind the glass. Comcast SportsNet’s cameras showed Pierce banging the glass, no doubt trying to do what The Truth does best by getting into the Islanders’ heads.

Gortat, meanwhile, managed to make his red Capitals sweater look small.

In December, Alex Ovechkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov attended a Wizards game and met Gortat and Pierce in the locker room after Washington’s win over the Jazz.
