NBC 4 sports reporter Dianna Russini is in Chicago for the first round of the NFL Draft, where the Redskins have a first-round pick for the first time since they moved up to select Robert Griffin III with the No. 2 pick in 2012.
During a live shot before the draft, Russini talked to a Redskins fan who happened to wander by.
“Who do you think they’re taking?” Russini asked.
“A new owner,” the fan replied.
“Oh, well, they’re not going to do that,” Russini said with a laugh before ending the impromptu interview and returning to her report.
A replacement for Daniel Snyder is not one of Mike Jones’ five possible scenarios for the Redskins in the first round, but it is the NFL Draft. You just never know.
