Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper, the same guy who MLB players have voted the most overrated in baseball two years running, homered in each of his first three at-bats Wednesday at Nationals Park, all off of Marlins starter Tom Koehler.

Harper, who had an RBI groundout in his fourth and final at-bat of Washington’s 7-5 win, joined Alfonso Soriano, Adam Dunn and Ryan Zimmerman as the only Nationals to hit three home runs in a game.

Home Run No. 1 – 2nd Inning, 0 On, 0 Out, off Tom Koehler

Home Run No. 2 – 3rd Inning, 1 On, 1 Out, off Tom Koehler

Home Run No. 3 – 5th Inning, 0 On, 2 Out, off Tom Koehler

Harper’s second and third home runs of the day traveled 442 and 445 feet, respectively, according to MLB’s Statcast. Marlins right fielder Giancarlo Stanton didn’t move a step on the third one.

Yes, there were Harper Hair Flips after each homer.
