If you were clairvoyant, would you be a Nationals fan? In a trailer for Fox’s “Minority Report,” set to debut in the fall, the Nats away hat takes a starring role. According to the network website, the premise of the show is simple.

“Set in Washington, D.C., it is 10 years after the demise of Precrime, a law enforcement agency tasked with identifying and eliminating criminals…before their crimes were committed. To carry out this brand of justice, the agency used three precogs – “precognitives” Dash, Arthur and Agatha – who were able to see the future. Now, in 2065, crime-solving is different, and justice leans more on sophisticated and trusted technology than on the instincts of the precogs.”

Okay, sure, I guess. It stars Meagan Good, Wilmer Valderrama and Stark Sands, the guy in the hat. There are so many jokes to be made about why someone who could see the future would ever support for a D.C. pro sports team, but who knows what our fates will be like in 2065. According to Fox, the Kennedy Center is still standing strong and scaffolding is still a thing for the Washington Monument. Here are some screenshots.

Over on Reddit, commenter RushJohn11 had the best line of the day. “Bryce Harper wins manager of the year,” he wrote. The Nationals outfielder would be in his 70s, which means, hey, it could happen.

Also, in a separate behind the scenes video, we see a a World Series 2054 patch on the side of the hat. Of course, we’re also treated a lovely marijuana plant advertisement on a train as well, which we’re just going to presume is the more likely of these two things to occur first.

Just 39 more years!
