Mixing pop culture with sports isn’t the most difficult task, but every once and a while someone pulls it off so well that you have to give props. And with the release of the film “Straight Outta Compton” next Friday, the media blitz for the biopic about the iconic West Coast rap group N.W.A. has been in full swing, putting the Jheri-curled stylings of a young Ice Cube and Eazy-E on full display to America.

And for your meme making pleasure, the site Straight Outta Somewhere has popped up, made by Beats by Dre, the headphone company started by another N.W.A. member, Dr. Dre. It’s a simple generator: you upload a photo, type in a word, and out pops your meme. Props to you, @MrSuperJay.

If you’re not familiar, this is a photo of Robert Griffin III from his freshman year, which he discussed with USA Today back in 2012. This hairdo is about halfway to an actual curl, almost like he ran out of activator mid-process. At this point this picture was taken, N.W.A.’s heyday was way over, but no bother, he looks like he could have fit into the group’s fan base back in the day.

Also, “straight outta last place” is probably the best slogan possible for the team at this point.

UPDATE: DeSean Jackson has created his own, now, too. And this trend is growing mightily.
