The original Vine remains the best. A Comcast SportsNet camera captured Kirk Cousins strutting in the bowels of FedEx Field after leading the Redskins to their largest comeback in franchise history on Sunday.

“You like that!” a fired-up Cousins shouted at CSN’s Tarik El-Bashir. “You. Like. That!”

“I’m not sure I did anything,” El-Bashir, who was waiting to interview players for CSN’s postgame show, explained. “I was just the guy standing closest to the door. I’m here a lot during the time when players are coming off the field and Kirk Cousins does this a lot.”

It’s true. Cousins shouted “You love that!” en route to the locker room after throwing a game-winning touchdown pass against the Eagles in Week 4.

But fired-up Cousins didn’t take the Internet by storm in Week 4 the way he did Sunday. CSN’s original Vine has been viewed more than 10 million times. Mashup versions followed, as Cousins became a meme.

Cousins was asked about his stoic demeanor during the post-game press conference.

“I try to stay like this, man,” Cousins said, moving his hand horizontally to illustrate his even keel outlook. “I don’t hit the panic button when things are going bad and I don’t feel like we’ve got it all figured out when we win.”

Did teammates like Cousins’s display of emotion, and an incredible win heading into the bye week? Yes. Yes, they did.
