Redskins fans had waited three years for something worth cheering about. What was another few hours? When the Redskins arrived at Redskins Park in Ashburn around 3 a.m. after clinching the NFC East title and a playoff berth with a 38-24 at Philadelphia on Saturday night, they were greeted by a large contingent of giddy fans.

Comcast SportsNet’s Sebastian Salazar was there and took videos from the scene. There were chants of ‘You like that’ in honor of Kirk Cousins. Fans chanted ‘RGIII’ for Robert Griffin III.

Players were impressed by the turnout, as was Cousins’s wife, Julie.
