As Redskins fans at Lincoln Financial Field chanted “You like that! You like that!” late Saturday night after Washington’s 38-24 win against the Eagles, Kirk Cousins marveled at the popularity of the phrase he first shouted back in October.

“I just can’t believe how much it caught on,” Cousins said during an on-field interview with the NFL Network’s Dan Hellie and Deion Sanders. “I guess the old quote, ‘Set yourself on fire and people will come from miles to watch you burn,’ because people like passion. I had some passion when I said that.”

Cousins was asked about the “You like that” T-shirts he began selling the week after his passionate display.

“They sold well,” he said. “We were able to raise a lot of money for International Justice Mission, a charity based out of the D.C. area. Hopefully we can sell a few more, maybe with the NFC [East] division champs on it.”

Well, that didn’t take long. Cousins unveiled the latest “You like that!” T-shirt design featuring his signature and “Division Champs” on Tuesday.  Proceeds will again benefit International Justice Mission.

The shirts come in one color, maroon, which is close enough to burgundy. A “You like that!” division champs bumper sticker is also available for $2.49.

For The Win reports that Cousins sent several “You like that!” T-shirts to the quarterbacks at his alma mater, Michigan State, ahead of Thursday’s College Football Playoff semifinal game against Alabama. Spartans Coach Mark Dantonio texted Cousins “You like that?” after Michigan State won the Big Ten Championship earlier this month.
