During his final White House correspondents’ dinner on Saturday, President Obama joked about how he’ll spend his two years in D.C. post-presidency while youngest daughter Sasha finishes high school at Sidwell Friends.

“You love sports; why don’t you volunteer to work for one of the teams around here?” Vice President Biden suggests in a video that played during Obama’s speech.

[Cut to Obama on the phone.]

“Is this the Washington Wizards?” Obama says. “I understand you’re looking for some coaching help. Let’s just say I coached my daughter’s team a few times. … Hello. Hello?”

The Wizards hired Scott Brooks as Randy Wittman’s replacement last week, but maybe the former Oklahoma City boss would be interested in a high-profile assistant. It’s unclear how adding Obama to the staff would affect the Wizards’ chances of landing Kevin Durant in free agency, but it probably couldn’t hurt.

John Wall, who shot hoops with Obama at the 2015 White House Easter Egg Roll, attended Saturday’s correspondents’ dinner with his mom as a guest of USA Today. The Wizards’ point guard took photos with Kendall Jenner, Gabrielle Union and Rosario Dawson.

so the @usatoday party was pretty great thanks for coming @kendalljenner @johnwall @gabunion #whcd
