Tickets for the event, which include a complimentary dinner and drink specials, are $95 per person, with a 10-ticket minimum per suite. The game — a meaningless rematch of the largest comeback in Redskins history — will be displayed on the stadium’s 100-foot HD video board, so fantasy owners can do a few more quarters of scouting before deciding whether to take a late-round flier on the Redskins’ latest preseason hero. (Don’t.)
The registration fee also includes an “official NFL Fantasy Football Draft Board, free water and soft drinks, wireless Internet access, a fantasy league photo, and autographed prizes.” The Redskins Cheerleaders will be there and former Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss will be in attendance to “talk strategy.” Registration closes Aug. 26.
Several other NFL teams have invited fans to host fantasy football drafts at their stadiums, for a fee, in recent years. The Seahawks charged $85 per person with an eight-ticket minimum last season. The Chiefs offered three different draft packages, ranging from $75 to $200 per person, and the two most expensive packages included tickets to a regular season game. The Browns charged $200 per suite for leagues of up to 16 players. The Cowboys’ draft night package cost $400 per league, but did not include access to a private suite.
