On the eve of Nationals pitchers and catchers reporting to their new spring training digs in West Palm Beach, Fla., Bryce Harper was enjoying an evening out with front row seats at WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” in his home town of Las Vegas.

Little did he know — or likely care — that he would ruffle the feathers of D.C. sports fans by showing support to his true NFL allegiance . . . again.

Harper was spotted wearing a Cowboys hat and an ear-to-ear grin during Monday’s show, much to the chagrin of many who also cheer for Harper during the Nationals season.

Harper made his allegiance to the Cowboys known when he became a member of the Nationals, but early on, he was lighthearted about his affiliation. He wore a Redskins shirt at spring training in 2012 and sported a hat while attending Super Bowl 50 last February. He even rocked a hat while touring the Smithsonian Natural History Museum during an off-day in April.

But for the most part, albeit without bringing attention to it, he’s been clear where his loyalties are even while rooting for other D.C. teams. Although one of those, his Capitals fandom, officially ended this week.
