Bryce Harper made a splash on the All-Star Game red carpet on Tuesday when he sauntered in dressed head-to-toe like he was ready to star in a “Miami Vice” remake.

Harper, 25, paired a white suit, made by men’s clothiers Stitched, and shoes with a pink shirt, as well as a pair of classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers to complete the look. It had MLB Network reminiscing about the looks of Al Leiter and Harold Reynolds, both of whom played in the 80s and 90s.

Harper’s use of a pink T-shirt under his jacket had many fans thinking he looked more like Don Johnson, who played Det. Sonny Crockett on the television version of “Miami Vice.”

At first glance, some viewers thought Harper was wearing a fully pink suit, however, that turned out to just be the reflective sheen of the red carpet.

Pink will be an ongoing theme for Harper as All-Star Game day continues, though. When he takes the field Tuesday night in Miami, he’ll be wearing a special pink pair of cleats courtesy of his sponsor Under Armour.

Incidentally, Harper introduced those kicks in an interesting outfit, as well.
