In a story over the weekend, we laid out the increasingly detailed proposal from organizers of Washington’s Olympics bid regarding where they would put on the 28 events of the 2024 Summer Games.

After Washington was passed over for the 2012 games, organizers of the region’s bid are pursuing a more compact, transit-oriented and in a few cases even walkable 17-day competition.

A decision on America’s preferred city is expected to come from the U.S. Olympic Committee in January. Washington is competing against Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco to become the U.S. finalist.

Here’s a look at what Washington would look like as an Olympic host city via the Post’s Laris Karklis.
