The Metrobus rider who shot the video has sent the Washington City Paper two photos of the newspaper open to different pages. Head here to see the photos.

Video of a D.C. Metrobus operator with a newspaper in his lap while driving a bus has been making the rounds after an anonymous rider submitted the footage to a local blog.

It is unclear if the bus driver is reading the newspaper, but the video shows him with a paper in his hand while steering the bus.

The rider told the Unsuck DC Metro blog that the video was shot during a morning commute headed westbound on a D2 bus leaving Dupont Circle. The rider reported concerns to WMATA.

Metro Spokesman Dan Stessel said an investigation is underway, including a review of video, statements and interviews.
