Original post:

All lanes of the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway in Prince George’s County have reopened following a four-vehicle crash, but some delays remain, authorities said Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. Thursday and involved two cars and two motorcycles, Maryland State Police said. One of the motorcyclists was killed in the crash, officials said. No information was available about the condition of other people involved in the crash.

The Inner Loop was shut down overnight, with closures beginning near the exit for Branch Avenue. The crash was cleared shortly before 6 a.m., in advance of the morning rush hour. There are some lingering delays that are expected to clear soon.
