It is on?

Organizers of the Truckers Ride for the Constitution say it is — despite word that the whole thing was a stunt designed to generate publicity.

Zeeda Anderson, one of the organizers of the ride, said thousands of truckers will descend on the Washington, D.C., region Friday morning and plan to circle the Beltway in a sign of protest against intrusive government policies. They plan to arrive in time for the morning rush, drive the speed limit and possibly slow traffic. They won’t, however, tie up three lanes of the Beltway as originally asserted.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for the truckers and posting update. But we are asking for your  help. If you spot vehicles with the #T2SDA slogan Friday, let us know where and about what time. Tweet to @drigridlock.
