Key Bridge re-opens after earlier incident

Police said the Key Bridge has re-opened in both directions, police said, after an earlier incident.

The northbound lanes of the Key Bridge have opened but the southbound lanes remain closed Friday  morning after an earlier incident.

D.C. Police said they Key Bridge is closed Friday morning in both directions.

Police said they did not immediately known how long the roadway will be shut down.

It was not immediately known why the roadway over the bridge was closed. There is police activity at the bridge.
