The Baltimore-Washington Parkway has re-opened after an earlier incident.

All northbound lanes of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway are closed Thursday morning after an earlier fatal accident.
U.S. Park Police said just after 5 a.m. they were not sure how long the roadway would be closed, but expected it to be several hours. Drivers are being redirected to Kenilworth Avenue.
The accident occurred around 2 a.m. and involved a car and a truck on the parkway, just south of Route 202.
Police would not give many details of the accident.
Two of four people, who were in the car, were pronounced dead on the scene. The other two people in the car were transported to an area hospital and listed in serious condition.
A person in the truck was transported to an area hospital. The person’s condition was said to be “not serious,” according to Sgt. Lelani Smith, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Park Police.
