A Red Line train with smoky brakes had to be offloaded at Gallery Place during Monday morning’s commute.

The smoke was noticed near the Woodley Park station, according to a Metro spokeswoman.

The train is being taken out of service and there are “not expected to be significant delays,” Metro said.
