Signal problems on Red Line fixed after delays

Updated at 10:58 a.m.

Normal service has resumed on the Red Line after an earlier signal problem near the Forest Glen stop, according to Metro officials.

Original post at 9:22 a.m.

Riders on Metro’s busy Red Line should expect delays Monday morning because of a signal problem outside of the Forest Glen stop.

It is the third time Monday that one of Metro’s rail lines has had troubles.

Earlier in the morning there were delays on the Green Line after a train struck a deer outside of the Prince George’s Plaza station. There were also delays for riders on the Blue and Orange lines after a train malfunctioned at the Federal Triangle stop.
